The Blood Of The Lamb Who Takes Away
The Sin Of The World
I worked for over 20 years in the clinical laboratory as a certified Medical Technologist as well as a licensed Clinical Laboratory Supervisor. I can tell you from firsthand experience that blood is one of the most difficult substances to remove once it has stained something. It also contains one of the most abundant cells in the human body, the erythrocytes or red blood cells. There are from 20 to 30 trillion of them in a healthy body at any time. Blood is uniquely biochemically designed to bring life sustaining oxygen to our other cells, while removing the carbon dioxide from those same cells. Additionally, each cell is a bi-concave disc, thereby maximizing the surface that allows for the optimal exchange of these gases.
There is an amazing verse in the Torah that is prophetic of the gospel. In it, the Bible accurately portrays this liquid organ as being central to life itself.
The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul, Lev. 17:11.
In this verse, it is YHVH who is speaking in the first person. He is telling us that He will offer His own blood on a wooden altar. Initially, this refers to the Temple sacrifices contained in the Mosaic Covenant. Prophetically, this was fulfilled when the Messiah Jesus was nailed to a tree 2,000 years ago. Since it is His blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness, I John 1:9, and we now know just how much blood a human body has in it, I have no problem believing that every one of Yeshua's adopted children is literally marked with the blood of the Lamb.
Come now, let us reason together says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool, Isaiah 1:18.
Here is just one of many verses where Isaiah shared the gospel with the children of Israel:
This same offer is available today to all who are willing to, "Repent and believe the gospel," Mark 1:15.
At CSI, we endeavor to stay true to our calling. We firmly believe that these are the last days. Therefore, we are witnessing the church compromise the clear teaching of God’s Word by embracing the evolutionary concept of deep time. While we do not pretend to have all the answers, we do stand firmly upon what God has revealed to us through the written Word. Our Lord and Savior, the living Word of God, spoke of Adam and Eve. He spoke about Abraham as well as the flood in the days of Noah. He often referenced the Torah, the writings and the prophets in His teachings. We should do no less than He in these matters.
We rely on your support as we continue to move out in faith. Please remember us before the throne of grace in your prayers.
