A SPECIAL MESSAGE from Tom DeRosa
It has been a great encouragement for us to see how God has blessed this ministry through your sacrificial gifts and prayers. It gives us the opportunity to keep moving forward, serving the Lord in this darkened world by reaching the world with the truth of the Creation and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During this joyous season, we are reminded of the miracle of all miracles, how the Creator of the universe became our Savior, giving us a living hope where death has been completely defeated. This gift of everlasting life is freely given, not because of our merits but by His unconditional love. WOW!

This season of celebration demonstrates that God’s ways are different from man’s ways. He did not come to this earth with a thunderous celebration so the whole world would know. No. His godly plan was to come to this earth unpretentiously in an unexpected way. The Creator of the universe would humble Himself and come to earth, conceived by the Holy Spirit, in womb of teenage virgin. We are told that the Creator of the Universe was never recognized or received, (John 1:10-11).  Think about it. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the One that came down to save us, was not initially accepted by those He created.

Tom Teaching Creation MessageOur ministry is always to be focused on this great event. The Creator became our Savior so that we could fully experience His unconditional love. Since the inception of our ministry in 1988, I have witnessed how God works in unexpected ways bringing many to Christ. Leo, a devout atheist, is a great example of how God works in unforeseen ways. This elderly man in his nineties had a gentle smile. He attended our monthly CSI fellowship meetings in which I taught on a variety of topics dealing with creation. His relatives brought him to these meetings for about two years where he bragged arrogantly that his purpose was “to give me a hard time.”  After each meeting, he always tried to stump me with many atheistic questions.  After each discussion, I would say to Leo “you know the truth and you just don’t want to admit it.” The gospel was always shared during these meetings, so it was frustrating for his family and me as Leo seemed to be so stubborn.

At one of our recent Fellowship meeting, his family excitedly shared with me that this hardhearted atheist, prior to passing away, had received Christ as his Savior. Leo was another of God’s unexpected miracles, something that Christ gave us the privilege of witnessing as He worked through His Holy Spirit to redeem this stubborn lost sheep.

There are many more examples like Leo that God gives to us. There are numerous encouraging testimonies through the many ministry activities of CSI including our services to Christian schools, churches, home schoolers and taking our vital message to public schools. This will be like David challenging Goliath, but you know who won that battle. Your prayers and continued support will be vital! We will need your help to reach our goal of $73,000 before December 31, 2012. We had a reasonable financial response so far - $37,000, but we are only halfway there. Please consider making a financial gift as we close out 2012 and successfully achieve our end-of-year goal. We cannot do it without your support.  Donate Here

God Bless you,
